Jodi has been providing professional financial planning advice to clients since 1999. She started her career in investment banking with a local Credit Union and later secured a role with a large international banking firm managing high net-worth client portfolios. She joined the Summit Team in July of 2010 intending to offer her clients a broader suite of services to meet their growing needs.
Jodi has a strong focus on personalized service and provides investment and insurance solutions for personal, professional and small business clients. She is currently working toward a Certified Financial Planning designation to ensure she is providing the most comprehensive planning tools and advice to her clients.
Jodi builds trust with her clients by helping them understand their personal financial goals. Together they lay out a personalized action plan to build a financially secure tomorrow while continuing to enjoy life today. Jodi works with clients to educate them to the degree they feel comfortable. Jodi believes investor education is like drivers education, a client doesn’t have to know how to build a car to drive one. This is where Jodi’s expertise in financial planning and portfolio management comes into play.
Jodi’s commitment to the community
Jodi possesses a strong history of supporting the Greater Vernon area through her various volunteer roles. She is currently involved with the Vernon Jubilee Hospital Foundations’ Building a Tower of Care Campaign as well as contributing over 6 years as a committee member with the Vernon Committee of the CIBC Run for the Cure. Most recently, Jodi was elected to the Greater Vernon Chamber of Commerce in the role of Director.
